Operations Director

Establish a forward-thinking approach to manufacturing operations management in our Galway, Ireland facility.

This senior role involves strategic planning and leadership of production control and staff management within the Manufacturing area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective production strategies to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead by example with direct supervision of shop floor personnel, ensuring optimal time keeping, attendance, and adherence to quality procedures.
  • Ensure employees are trained and aligned with Quality System processes.
  • Deliver accurate processing timings and detailed costing reports to management.
  • Implement robust safety, health, environment, and quality standards across departments.
  • Drive Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and customer performance metrics.
  • Optimize resource allocation, staffing levels, and schedules to meet business objectives.
  • Set clear goals and motivate team members through personal development opportunities.

Required Expertise:

  • Proven experience in managing ISO13485 or AS9100 certified environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of senior-level management experience.
