  • Provides technical assistance to engineers in support of manufacturing efforts.
">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve manufacturing processes.
  • Analyzes data and identifies manufacturing issues and trends.
  • Trains operators on basic processes and engineering changes, and performs operator certification on on-the-job training and testing.
  • Identifies manufacturing issues by working with engineers to determine root cause and implement corrective and preventative action.
  • Learns processes to disposition non-conforming material by utilizing quality tools and developing knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures.
  • Develops and implements process improvements by assisting engineers in researching and validating changes in processes/equipment and testing methodology to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time per established procedures.
  • Supports process development during new product introduction by providing input to traceability and inspection requirements, providing input for statistical process control criteria, developing manufacturing instructions, and creating training sheets and certifications.
  • Qualifies and validates studies and reports by collecting, compiling, measuring, organizing and recording data, and by writing procedures.
">Education and Competencies:">
  • National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents. Receives general supervision. Solves a variety of problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of defined procedures and practices. Performs set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of all area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or product.
