Civil Engineer Position

The role of a Design Engineer involves delivering high-quality designs to clients while working closely with colleagues.
To succeed in this position, you will require:
- A minimum Level 8 Honours Degree qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Experience gained throughout your career
In addition, the following skills and qualifications are essential:
Duties and Responsibilities- Liaise with Clients to deliver required designs.
- Review documents and designs prepared by Graduate Engineers.
- Prepare and review preliminary designs and reports using computer packages.
- Procure Site Investigation, Building and Civil Engineering Contracts.
- Assist Project Managers in tender document preparation and assessments.
- Administer construction contracts to ensure design requirements are achieved.
Your proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD 3D as well as your knowledge of Building Information Modelling (AutoDesk REVIT) will be beneficial in this role.
Requirements- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in software such as MicroDrainage Microsoft Access and GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo)
- Working knowledge of construction contracts (PWMF Forms) and relevant software packages
