Job Title: Program Manager

A highly skilled Project Lead is required to drive the development of a novel cardiac support device through all stages from concept to manufacturing and scale-up in a regulated environment.

This key role involves establishing and managing robust project plans and timelines, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing structured engineering review processes to minimize design risks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of the full product development program.
  • Establish and manage project plans and timelines.
  • Implement structured engineering review processes.
  • Coordinate workstream activities.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding project progress and risks.
  • Anticipate potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee program budgets and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to support team development and recruitment.
  • Promote innovation and IP generation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in medical device development, ideally in cardiovascular or interventional cardiology.
  • Proven track record in program management within a regulated environment.
  • Strong organizational and project execution skills.
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and solution-driven approach.
  • Understanding of quality systems and regulatory frameworks.
