About the Role:

  • This is a temporary position that supports the provision of care to animals in need at a leading veterinary medical center.">
  • Responsibilities include taking vital signs, administering medication and fluids, collecting lab specimens, assisting with patient assessment and treatments, training staff members, comforting and caring for hospitalized patients, and ensuring their clean housing, food, and water are always available.">
  • The role also involves monitoring patients, notifying veterinarians of any unusual changes or symptoms, assisting with patient admission and discharge, stocking supplies, cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas, performing general cleaning tasks, replacing light bulbs, and providing support with laundry and administrative tasks as needed.">
  • This role primarily supports the Urgent Care Department but may also involve caring for pre and post-surgical patients based on the needs of the team.">
