Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

The role involves working with the Critical Utilities Operations and Maintenance team to maximize critical utility equipment, including optimization and development of plant operation, maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that maintenance standards are set to ensure safe and reliable operations by driving Reliability Excellence.

Additionally, you will review vendor documents and reports, manage the effective close-out of work orders on site CMMS, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain environmental control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Critical Utilities Operations and Maintenance team to maximize critical utility equipment.
  • Develop and optimize plant operation, maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure maintenance standards are set to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Review vendor documents and reports.
  • Manage the effective close-out of work orders on site CMMS.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain environmental control.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in utility systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of an Electrical Trade qualification with further development in their career history and/or a level 8 degree for the Electrical Utility position.
  • Experience in hard-wired control systems and safety circuitry.
  • Experience in Life Safety & Security systems (Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Emergency Lighting etc.).
  • Experience in reading functional design specifications, control drawings, electrical drawings, and P&ID's.
  • Experience in utilities start-up & commissioning.
  • Experience in planning and executing maintenance shutdowns.
  • High level of computer literacy with experience in CMMS, safety investigation systems, Utility system software systems.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements (Safety, Quality and cGMP).
