IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are a rapidly expanding international company specializing in innovative waste-to-energy solutions.

  • To achieve our growth goals, we need an experienced IT infrastructure specialist to design and implement a scalable and secure corporate IT infrastructure across all offices and project sites.

This key role will oversee the development and implementation of our global IT strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining IT infrastructure across multiple countries (HQ, engineering office, project sites).
  • Configuring and managing corporate networks (SD-WAN, VLAN, VPN, firewalls).
  • Deploying and administering Microsoft 365 / Azure AD.
  • Organizing and supporting secure remote access (VPN, remote desktops, VDI).
  • Managing servers, data storage, and backup systems.
  • Setting up and maintaining corporate telephony (mobile, VoIP, Teams integration).
  • Implementing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, monitoring and responding to incidents.
  • E nsuring compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, and OT/SCADA security requirements.
  • Rolling out collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, project platforms).
  • Managing external IT providers and vendors.
  • B uilding and leading an IT support/helpdesk function.
  • Supporting project-related IT needs (engineering software, secure data exchange, remote commissioning access).
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional IT experience.
  • Experience in international companies or distributed (multi-country) IT infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of networks (SD-WAN, VLAN, VPN, firewalls), Microsoft 365 / Azure AD, and cybersecurity systems.
  • A proven track record in building IT infrastructure from scratch and scaling it.
  • An understanding of OT/SCADA and industrial systems security (a strong plus).
  • Knowledge of international standards: ISO 27001, IEC 62443, GDPR, NIS2.
  • Strong project and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English (mandatory), other languages are a plus.
