About the Role
ICDS (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of various projects across residential, commercial, pharma, life science, and datacentre sectors.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in site management, with a proven track record of delegating setting out tasks to junior staff and managing sub-contractors. A relevant qualification and previous employment with main contractors, developers, or large specialist subcontractors in Ireland or the UK are essential.
Main Responsibilities:
- Generic site management duties, including supervision of junior staff
- Management of sub-contractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
- Delegation of generic 'setting-out' duties to Junior Engineers/Technicians
- Monitoring master programme with actual progress on site
- Manage procurement of materials in conjunction with the construction programme
- Report to the visiting Contracts Manager & QS on a regular basis
- Definite career path to Project Manager and continuous professional development offered
