We are currently looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Head of Residential Services at Steering Point. In this role, you will provide operational leadership for our residential childcare centres, focusing on delivering high-quality care and support services.
You will work closely with our Director of Services and other teams to ensure effective management of placement planning activities, resource allocation, and integrated working with local authorities and other organisations. A key aspect of this role will be contributing to the senior management leadership of our centres.
As part of your duties, you will manage care and support budgets for our centres, oversee centre operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with external organisations to enhance integrated working and promote best practice in care delivery.
Main Responsibilities- To make strategic decisions regarding resource allocation and centre operations.
- Monitor and review centre performance, including management, personnel, and resident records.
- Provide regular reports to the Director of Services on centre outcomes and risks.
- Manage centre budgets and ensure effective financial management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to advance integrated working.
