**Financial Efficiency Specialist Role:**

We are seeking a skilled Financial Efficiency Specialist to drive financial performance and contribute to the success of our organization. This role will play a vital part in optimizing cost control procedures, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accuracy in recording and reporting.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and record goods deliveries, adhering to all cost control procedures
  • Record revenue and costs into the General Ledger System
  • Update costings, including R&B items, to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • R&B revenue and cost audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Review purchasing procedures for R&B items to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and authorization processes
  • Process R&B accruals accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor inventories of R&B items to increase turnover
  • Participate in month-end reporting procedures, focusing on R&B stock and other key metrics
  • Conduct regular stock takes to evaluate opportunities for improvement

 

**Requirements for Success:

  • Prior experience in hotels or income audit/accounts payable is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Demonstrated analytical and numerical skills, with ability to interpret P&L statements
  • Timely and accurate recording and reporting, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards
  • Hands-on, proactive approach, with personal responsibility and initiative
  • A balance between methodical process-driven approach and flexibility/creativity when meeting deadlines/solving problems
