Construction Development Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven construction professional to deliver landmark developments while leading a skilled site team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of large-scale commercial and residential projects from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities include ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Lead, coordinate, and manage subcontractors, direct labour, and site staff.
- Drive health & safety culture across all site operations, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, and other stakeholders to resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Monitor project programmes, progress, and productivity, reporting regularly to senior management.
- Manage procurement and scheduling of materials, plant, and equipment.
- Foster strong client relationships and represent the company professionally on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:
- A proven track record as a Senior Site Manager, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor.
- Minimum 7+ years' experience in managing commercial and/or residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methodologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
