Mechanic Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to undertake maintenance and repair of grass-cutting machinery, engines, and electrical systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with diesel/petrol engines and 12-volt systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine service and repair of golf course and commercial grass-cutting equipment.
  • Diagnose faults in diesel/petrol engines and 12-volt systems.
  • Ensure health & safety compliance across all operations.
  • Conduct Pre Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new equipment, including testing and setup.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical repairs, preferably with grass-cutting, agricultural or similar machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel/petrol engines and 12-volt systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Holding a full driving license is essential for occasional service call outs.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday. Salary negotiation based on experience, approximately €35-48,000 per annum.
