Remote IT Support Specialist Nationwide Across Ireland

We are seeking a skilled Desktop / Network Field Engineer to provide high-quality technical support and networking solutions to clients across Ireland.
Job DescriptionThis is a field-based role ideal for professionals with a strong background in desktop support, network troubleshooting, and hardware/software installation, who are confident working independently and enjoy travel.
Key responsibilities include providing on-site IT support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, Windows operating systems, printers, and networking equipment, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining PCs, servers, switches, routers, and related IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will deliver excellent customer service, act as the face of the company at client sites, maintain accurate service records, and participate in a 1-in-4 week on-call support rota.
Required Skills & Experience- A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or field service engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Windows Server, LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and switches, routers, firewalls (preferably Cisco or Ubiquiti).
- Experience working with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A full, clean Irish driving licence (essential).
- A competitive salary: €37,000 - €40,000 (negotiable based on experience).
