About Our Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to provide support to individuals in their own homes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference in people's lives, offering care and companionship to those who need it most.

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Meal preparation and feeding support
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Light household tasks (tidying, laundry, etc.)
  • Supporting mobility and transfers
  • Following and recording care plans accurately

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong focus on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We welcome both new and experienced carers who meet one of the following:

  • QQI Level 5 Modules: Care Skills/Healthcare Support, Care of the Older Person
  • 1+ year of care experience and a willingness to complete the two modules (which we provide FREE of charge)
  • Good spoken and written English
  • A full driving licence and access to a car is required.
  • Must have legal right to work in Ireland - sponsorship is not available
