Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in delivering technical support to the manufacturing and testing of medical device instrumentation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to make a significant impact in their career.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and be able to initiate and lead product optimization projects on a cross-functional and cross-site basis.

  • Delivering technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.
  • Working within a dynamic engineering change environment; actively supporting design transfer, test fixtures and engineering design change activities.
  • Collaborating with R&D, manufacturing operations, quality & procurement to deliver product and supply base improvements.
  • Initiating and project managing product and process change activities, technology transfers while assuring continuity of supply.
  • Optimising complex processes, improving performance and efficiencies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Minimum QQI level 8) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  2. Structured analysis skills with experience in complex technical trouble shooting.
  3. Strong manufacturing, mechanical/electro mechanical / systems design skillset for both products and manufacturing fixtures.
  4. Excellent communications skills: written and verbal skills are required.
  5. Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
