Company Overview

A long-established global organisation and market leader in their industry are setting up their first European operation in the mid-west region. They have engaged with us in Cpl to help them recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join them.

About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a green-field start-up operation with huge growth and development plans. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design and delivery of new financial strategies and projects, implement financial controls, oversee tax, audit, and compliance activities across the region.

The role offers a salary range of up to 100k base initially, with significant scope for further growth and development both in salary and responsibilities. In addition, there will be an excellent benefits package, including pension, healthcare, annual bonus, and other benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting directly to the newly hired EMEA CEO, the successful candidate will cover a full remit of accounting/finance duties and supports for the new site and team.
  • Liaising closely with the US-based Finance team on the ongoing growth and development of the function here.
  • Tasked with resolving financial and invoicing queries, managing corporate budgets, and assisting in commercial decision-making processes as part of the leadership team.
  • Growing and expanding the finance team over time.
