Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and experience in land acquisition processes. They will be responsible for managing the end-to-end land acquisition process, including consent phase activities, delivery phase activities, and alternative sources of funding and financing. Additionally, they will prepare consent documents, utilise statutory powers and other available mechanisms to acquire land, negotiate heads of terms to secure land for projects, and liaise with landowners' land agents, legal representatives, planning authorities, key stakeholders, and contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • More than 10 years' experience in the Irish property market
  • A recognised degree in property economics/surveying and chartered surveyor qualification
  • Completion of 'The Compulsory Purchase Professional Development Programme'
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent professional organisations
  • Substantial experience in delivering projects and programmes in the metro/rail sector
  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise
  • Commercial and financial acumen
