Room Standards Manager

We are looking for a Room Standards Manager to work closely with our Accommodation Team Leader to ensure the highest quality of room standards for our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient supervision of the Accommodation department - its rooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas and toilets, presenting a clean and fresh environment to approved standard for the guests.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform.
  • To supervise and check rooms ensuring high standards are being maintained at all times, in compliance with all relevant guidelines and recommendations
  • To carry out periodic duties such as spot cleaning when required.
  • To carry out extra duties as notified to you each day.
  • To communicate our services and facilities to guests as required.
  • To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to notify management of these.
  • To ensure that the guests needs and requirements are met.
  • To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises.
  • To report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents or damage.
  • To attend all training courses as notified to you by management.
  • To perform other duties as assigned to you by management to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience as an Accommodation Supervisor in a comparable property.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Previous experience using Hotel Management Systems is a plus.
