Senior IT Operations Professional

MCS Group is thrilled to be partnering alongside an MSP client as they seek to add a senior IT Operations professional to their team in a unique role reporting into the CEO. This organisation is full of energy and personality and seek like-minded candidates who will have free reign to get stuck into experimenting with, automating and maintaining internal systems as well as look after the performance of external platforms utilised by clients.

This role suits a Level 3 Engineer who wants to focus more on strategy and trying out new things rather than following set processes or indeed Systems Admins/IT Ops professionals who want to join a vibrant organisation

(Hybrid - 4 days per week on-site)

Job Responsibilities:

• Own internal toolsets and take the lead on governance, configuration and improvements.

• Take the lead on automating everything you possibly can and look for opportunities to introduce AI tools into the business.

• Contribute to leadership quality committee and review processes regularly to ensure optimisation.

• Manage third-party products utilised by the business and constantly look for improvements.

• Maintain business focus on Security & Compliance ensuring that changes you introduce to the business are ISO compliant.

Key Requirements:

• Strong MSP experience as an IT Operations leader/sys admin/engineer.

• Ability to spot opportunities for Automation and expertise to make it happen in collaboration with colleagues.

• Strong awareness of Cybersecurity and compliance processes.

• Strong experience managing IT systems and 3rd party tools.

• Clear communication and ability to manage IT projects.

• Happy to be on-site four days per week.

Benefits:
