Job Profile

We are seeking an experienced and skilled technical professional to lead our software engineering efforts as a Staff Software Engineer. As a senior member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement scalable software systems, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
  2. Architect and develop new features and functionalities, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
  3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  4. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership, code reviews, and feedback to foster skill development and growth.
  5. Conduct thorough code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and advocate for continuous integration and delivery practices.
  6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our products and processes.
  7. Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex, scalable systems.
  3. Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and data structures, with experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling challenging technical problems with creativity and innovation.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
  6. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
  7. Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
