The Delta V Lead is a key role in our organization, responsible for overseeing the site's Delta V systems and supporting complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation engineering, process control systems, and network architecture.

Our team works closely with multiple disciplines to implement operational improvements. As a Delta V Lead, you will be expected to provide system administration and ownership support for Delta V and Utility systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to commercial and clinical manufacturing
  • Leading technical root cause analysis and incident investigations
  • Developing and presenting results for operational issues and projects
  • Supporting system improvements and development of detailed specifications

Required skills and qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related life science engineering field

Minimum 8 years of experience in automation engineering in a manufacturing support environment

Direct hands-on experience with lifecycle management of Delta V software, hardware, and infrastructure

Strong process control systems automation background and network architecture or engineering proficiencies

Knowledge of industry standards for batch control systems, software development life cycle methodologies, and GAMP

Familiarity with OSI PI Historian and programming language (e.g. VBA)

Understanding of Operational Excellence and Lean Transformation in the Automation and Engineering context

Preferred skills include knowledge of ASTM 2500, ISA S88, and S95 techniques

Personal skills required include:

Team player with ability to work in a team-based culture that relies on collaboration

Ability to apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex problems

Ability to translate strategic opportunities and emerging technology solutions into tangible pragmatic executable plans
