Job Title: Manufacturing Business Development Manager

This dynamic role focuses on driving new business opportunities and ensuring project success in a collaborative environment.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Work closely with the sales team to build and secure new projects.
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met.
  • RFQ Process: Collaborate with internal departments to create commercially viable proposals and ensure timely follow-ups after submission.
  • Project Oversight: Manage ongoing projects, ensuring seamless handovers to operations teams and alignment with business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Conduct market, competitor, and sector analyses to support informed decision-making.
  • Reporting: Submit regular updates on sales performance and market insights to senior leadership.


Required Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in the manufacturing or sub-contract engineering industry, preferably with knowledge of precision CNC multi-axis turning and milling.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills to assess and interpret data, creating actionable strategies.
  • Advanced organisational and communication skills, including proficiency with preparing reports, tender documents, and presentations.
  • Proven track record in achieving targets and delivering results in a manufacturing context.
