About the Role

The Camphill Communities of Ireland organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Social Care Management Director. This role requires strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional support and services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective operational plans, working closely with staff and residents to achieve optimal health and quality of life outcomes.
  2. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the community team, ensuring that the highest standards of quality care are maintained.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, HIQA standards, and reporting obligations.
  4. Lead by example, promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusivity within the community.
  5. Collaborate with external partners, such as the HSE and other agencies, to promote partnership working and generate opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of a Level 7 qualification in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Social Care Management or a related field would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in senior management roles, preferably in the healthcare or social care sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
