Veterinary Surgeon - Surgical Focus Opportunity

Are you a skilled veterinarian looking to focus on surgery and take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for surgical work.

About the Role:
  • This is a dedicated surgical role, offering a strong theatre time and managing advanced cases.
  • The balance of consults and general practice work will favour surgery, allowing you to develop your skills further.

We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who enjoys being in theatre, wants to develop their surgical skills, and is ready to move away from the constant grind of back-to-back consults.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To perform high-quality surgical procedures, including soft tissue and orthopaedics.
  2. To manage complex cases and provide excellent patient care.
  3. To work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • VCI-registered vet with solid small animal surgical experience.
  • A Certificate in Surgery or working towards it is ideal, but not essential.
  • Confidence handling complex cases and comfortable with occasional sole charge.
