The Rotunda Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthesiologist to join our team as a Full-time Locum Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, participating in the development of anaesthesia services, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of anaesthesia services and ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, including pre-operative assessment, intraoperative care, and postoperative management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimize outcomes
  • Participate in clinical audit and proactive risk management to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care
  • Supervise and be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, and care provided by non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs) treating patients under their care

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, and a willingness to collaborate with others to achieve common goals. You will also need to have a strong understanding of anaesthesia practice and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
