Job Overview

This role involves technical design with a focus on safety, schedule and cost management adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies and all applicable regulations and codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed scope of work packages for electrical, instrumentation and automation contractors for tender and procurement processes, applying value engineering where possible.
  • Evaluate instrumentation/automation installations for integrity and efficiency improvements.
  • Define instrumentation requirements for capital projects and interact with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and contractors for tender negotiation, cost estimates, constructability and safety reviews.
  • Contribute to project management for instrumentation projects, including cost estimates, planning and schedule reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 2-7 years' industry experience. Degree qualified in Applied Physics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • ATEX (CompEx) qualification (1–4).
  • Broad experience with instrumentation, control and safety systems, and high/medium/low voltage equipment and motor control.
