Cloud Security Specialist

This role involves designing and implementing cloud security solutions to protect against cyber threats. As a cloud security specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include architecting, implementing, and maintaining cloud security controls, managing asset inventory and vulnerabilities, and performing penetration testing.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement cloud security solutions to protect against cyber threats
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business
• Architect, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across cloud environments
• Manage asset inventory and vulnerabilities
• Perform penetration testing and provide recommendations for remediation
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security best practices across services and deployments
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and threats
Requirements:
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP security tools and architecture
• Extensive experience in cloud security, with a strong understanding of cloud security risks and vulnerabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments under pressure
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Security Specialty or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, are highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and educate technical and non-technical stakeholders
