Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Counsellor / Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team at Beaumont Hospital. The successful candidate will provide individual and group counselling services to service users presenting with primary addiction issues and other comorbid mental health concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of evidence-based interventions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual counselling to service users presenting with primary addiction issues and any other comorbid mental health issue.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups daily during working hours.
  • Manage a caseload across a range of programmes under supervision of the clinical lead.
Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
  • Accreditation with a relevant organisation.
  • A minimum of two years' experience managing a caseload under supervision where addiction issues are a part of this work.
