Multinational Financial Accountant Contract

A highly skilled Financial Accountant is required to join our EMEA finance team for an initial 12 month contract with a strong view of going permanent. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress your career in a growing team.
About the RoleThis position involves supporting financial reporting across entities, managing bank and fixed asset accounting, and compiling financial information for external compliance. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely close processes, maintain financial records in accordance with accepted policies and procedures, and manage taxes including payroll, corporate tax, and VAT.
The Financial Accountant will work closely with the internal audit department to ensure timely completion of audits, SOX control testing, and implementation of recommendations. They will also manage relationships with external service providers and support ad hoc projects.
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified accountant experience
- Strong financial and logistics systems skills
- Advanced Excel skills
In addition, a background in financial, tax, and statutory accounting is essential.
