Job Opportunity: Expert Ophthalmic Nursing

Clinical Nurse Specialists play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. This esteemed position requires a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our Glaucoma Services team, providing expert nursing care to patients with glaucoma and other ophthalmic conditions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conducting audits and research to improve patient outcomes and inform best practices.
  • Participating in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in ophthalmic nursing.

Requirements:

  • Registration/eligibility for registration on the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the relevant national authority.
  • Five years post-registration experience, including two years in ophthalmic nursing.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Ophthalmic Nursing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in commonly used IT applications.
