Senior Electrical Engineer - Water Sector

We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to join our team in Belfast, working on a wide variety of projects in water treatment, energy and environmental sectors.


You will be involved in the whole project lifecycle from feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction support, including site surveys and investigations. Your responsibilities will include working with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community.


As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will hold responsibility for understanding how water treatment processes operate and be experienced in assessing existing electrical and instrumentation infrastructure to develop and deliver EICA designs.


You will also have the opportunity to learn and develop from colleagues across the UK business and help develop the team by acting as a mentor, line manager or guide to less experienced members within the team.


The ideal candidate will be an Electrical Engineer with design experience and working towards Chartership with IMechE. You will be experienced in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports and familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.


You will be able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams as well as providing engineering input to collaborative design outputs, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
