Leading Workshop Technician

This is a senior position within our garage and service centre that requires an experienced leader to oversee daily operations.
About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Manager to lead and manage a team of technicians in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality workmanship, and adherence to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage workshop staff to optimize performance and productivity.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, job allocation, and quality control.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to maintain service standards and ensure safety compliance.
- Provide technical expertise, diagnosing complex issues and supporting the team with problem resolution.
- Ensure all repairs and servicing meet manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and liaise with the service department.
- Train and mentor technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanic with 4+ years' experience, ideally in a main dealer environment. They will have experience with diagnostics and modern vehicle electronics, hold a full, valid and current driver's licence, and have their own tools.
