Job Description

The role of a Junior Financial Clerk is to provide support to the wider team by completing routine tasks.

They will provide support to clients, as well as with other team members, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard while also promoting the organization's vision and values.

The Junior Financial Clerk will provide support on a wide range of accounting services, including audit engagements, tax returns, and management accounts.

  • Assisting more senior colleagues in liaising with clients to gather information and communicate with clients on routine matters.
  • Providing assistance on audit engagements, preparing sole trader, partnership, and Ltd company accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts.
  • Attending client premises and communicating verbally and in writing with external clients, aiming to deliver customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
  • Participating in teamwork and activities enhancing standards for the business and client.
  • Representing the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct, and attitude.
