Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Project Leader to join our Capital Delivery team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the construction and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing large-scale projects, mentoring a team of project managers, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes across a high-value capital works portfolio.

This includes taking ownership of the execution and closure phases of projects within your portfolio, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with the business case, design intent, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, financial, procurement, and reporting requirements
  • Lead teams of project managers to ensure knowledge sharing, capability development, and continuous improvement
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, external consultants, and construction partners to meet or exceed delivery targets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience delivering infrastructure projects ideally in water, wastewater, or utilities
  • Demonstrated experience working with contractors and consultants
  • A collaborative, safety-first approach with the confidence to engage at all levels
