Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents in accordance with their care plans.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective care and support to residents.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care according to residents' care plans.
  • Understand residents' needs and provide companionship.
  • Assist with mobility and personal hygiene, ensuring dignity.
  • Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort.
  • Participate in and help organise social activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Must possess EU citizenship.
  • QQI Level 5 or equivalent qualification in healthcare.
  • Experience in elderly care is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and observation skills.
