About the Role

As a Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist at Beacon Hospital Group, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art Radiotherapy Department. With a strong focus on quality and compassion, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to assigned patients, performing techniques and routines in the specialty service area.
  • Observe and record signs, symptoms, and behaviors, including the physiological status of patients, and present assessments and proposed interventions.
  • Follow policy for activating individualized plans of care for newly referred patients, execute physician's orders, and safely administer medications and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatment procedures, and billing information.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal radiation therapy technology program and CORU Registration.
  • At least six years of post-qualification experience in a relevant acute hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, communicate effectively, and empathize with patients and colleagues.
