The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of client and office banks, maintaining petty cash records, handling accounts payable, and preparing compliance reports in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of client and office banks, including processing online banking payments, cheque payments, lodgements, recording bank transactions on the accounts system, and reconciling banks.
- Maintain all petty cash records.
- Handle accounts payable by recording supplier invoices, managing supplier payments, and addressing supplier queries.
- Manage accounts receivable, including client invoicing and credit control.
- Maintain client matter ledgers in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Regulations.
- Prepare compliance reports in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Regulations.
- Process staff expenses.
- Handle payroll, including ROS submissions and reporting.
- Manage VAT & VIES returns, including ROS submissions.
- Record and reconcile Land Registry, Court Franking, and CRO accounts.
- Submit Revenue Commissioners Stamp Duty returns.
- Supervise Accounts Assistant and outsourced bookkeeping support where required.
- Manage the Nominal Ledger, including processing necessary journal entries.
- Prepare ad hoc reports for management.
