Python Developer Role

 

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting new and existing quantitative study environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Part of the Options trading strategy development team
  • Maintenance and constant improvement of our python-based platform enabling quantitative researchers to interact efficiently with trading systems
  • Work with Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and other Strategy Developers to facilitate new trading behaviors
  • Set up and maintain production-quality data pipelines working with large datasets
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science or other science or technical field
  • 5+ years' experience in Python development and enthusiastic about the latest developments in Python
  • Experience of distributed message-based systems and server-side software development with proven product delivery success
  • Full software development life cycle experience and exposure to agile software development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with quantitative researchers and other engineers
