Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned engineer to lead the design of complex System-on-Chip (SoC) systems.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and validating reference systems for high-performance applications. They will work closely with compute and interface IP development engineering to build designs that demonstrate the capabilities of subsystems and components.

This role requires strong expertise in IP integration, SoC design, and implementation of compute-based systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and debugging SoC reference systems, integrating compute, memory, and interface IP in system designs, and analyzing IP products and implementation flows.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SoC reference systems
  • Integrate compute, memory, and interface IP in system designs
  • Analyze IP products and implementation flows
  • Identify gaps and improve products by collaborating with development teams
  • Develop collateral and training material for customers
  • Implement best practices in hardware design, testing, and validation to improve efficiency and reliability
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a BS in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 8+ years of work experience, or an MS in EE/CS with 4+ years' experience. You must also have at least 3 years of experience in ASIC design, integration, or verification.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Expertise in Verilog/System Verilog for coding and verification
  • Proficiency in RTL design techniques, including synthesis, timing closure, and verification
  • Experience with EDA tools like Cadence and Synopsys for design simulation and verification
  • Proficiency with FPGA emulation, design tools, and verification

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in using UVM for functional verification of ASIC designs
  • Expertise in some of the following domains: processor design, on-chip communication and interconnects, high-speed interfaces, or chiplets
