Job Role: Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a senior accountant. This is a challenging role that requires exceptional technical skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, tax compliance, and advisory services. They will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and providing expert advice on taxation and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries and sectors.
  • Prepare and review year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns and other regulatory submissions.
  • Provide expert advice on taxation and financial reporting standards.
  • Support the implementation of cloud accounting systems where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CPA) with minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish tax and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Surf, Sage, QuickBooks).
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
