About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in cloud infrastructure.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in datacenter telemetry, server management, and manageability protocols. The successful candidate will work closely with our research teams to investigate and address complex technical problems related to planet-scale cloud infrastructure.

The role involves collaborating with local and global research centers to design and develop solutions that improve the reliability of cloud infrastructure. This includes architecting and designing new features for future servers, as well as developing manageability solutions to monitor and maintain system health.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to present findings and solutions to key stakeholders, including engineering teams, senior management, customers, and external partners.

Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Expertise in datacenter telemetry, including scale solution for cloud-scale telemetry
  • Expertise in scale server management, including BMC management
  • Proven knowledge of server telemetry/manageability protocols like SMBUS, I2C, I3C, Redfish, SPI
