Job Title: Life Sciences Expert

We are seeking an experienced life sciences expert to join our team within the Lateral Flow Assay Development Services (LFADs) department. The successful candidate will provide support for applications and custom assay development projects, perform general laboratory functions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting project development by assembling and testing lateral flow devices.
  2. Maintaining accurate records of scientific work and results in accordance with GLP requirements.
  3. Providing critical laboratory support functions; organizing service contracts and scheduling, using, maintaining, and calibrating equipment, preparing reagents and materials, ensuring the lab is adequately stocked and resourced, disposing of laboratory waste according to EHS guidelines.
  4. Providing support for validation, stability studies, and trial activities.
  5. Creating, revising, and reviewing documents.
  6. Ensuring compliance with quality standards, environmental, health & safety legislations, adhering to site EHS procedures for laboratories.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent required.
  2. 2+ years of experience in R&D, manufacturing, operations, or biotech industry.
  3. Experience in lateral flow/in vitro diagnostics highly desirable but not essential, on-the-job training provided.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  6. Good knowledge of quality system regulations and processes.
  7. Good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.
