Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Process Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and processes. This individual is responsible for monitoring and adjusting manufacturing processes to ensure the quality of final products.

This position requires working in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, as well as adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The technician will report to the Shift Manager and may be required to perform multiple roles related to the manufacture and inspection of sterile parenteral drugs.

Key responsibilities include operating and setting up manufacturing equipment, processing parts and components, performing transactions in electronic systems, and cleaning and sanitizing production areas.

Hiring Requirements
  1. Applicants must be willing to work various shift patterns, including days, 2, 3, and 4 cycle shifts.
  2. They will be required to perform operations with due care and attention, adhering to GMPs and other relevant standards.
  3. Problem-solving and troubleshooting are essential skills for this role, involving initiation and documentation of investigations.
  4. The technician will conduct self-inspection Quality & Safety Audits within their functional area.
  5. They will participate in a learning and development program, including annual reviews and goal setting via the MAP process.
  6. Operational documentation review, revision, and upgrade, as well as peer review of operations, are key responsibilities.
  7. Continuous improvement initiatives require proactive identification of operational improvement opportunities or process-related issues.
  8. Safe working practices and safety initiatives must be championed within the functional area.
  9. Sampling, testing, and inspections, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment are also part of the role.
  10. Contribution to Corporate, FDA, HPRA Auditors, and other regulatory bodies during company audits is necessary.
  11. Carrying out duties designated by supervisor/management is also expected.
