Transportation Project Lead

This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage a team of professionals in delivering high-profile transportation projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams and a strong understanding of transportation project life cycles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project management for roads, active travel, and site development schemes
  • Contract and commercial management
  • Design management and coordination
  • Line management and mentoring of junior staff
  • Bid preparation and win work activities

Requirements

Degree qualified in civil engineering or a related field

Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional body

10+ years of experience in managing transportation projects

Knowledge of relevant design standards and specifications

Ability to achieve successful commercial management of projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with relevant forms of contract and Irish law
