Environmental Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our client's team in Cork. As a key member of the Environment team, you will work alongside engineers, environmental scientists, and other staff on a portfolio of infrastructure projects in Ireland, particularly in the water, energy, and transport sectors.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of professional services to the infrastructure sector in Ireland. You will be responsible for organising and managing large strategic environmental projects, including EIARs and non-statutory environmental reports.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project management of a wide variety of projects ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high technical standards.
  • Liaison with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors, and other internal disciplines.
  • Preparation of proposals and input into bids for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Managing project teams.

You will have excellent organisational, technical, numerical, and communication skills to demonstrate logical thinking and concise reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant science or environmental engineering subject (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, air and climate, noise, geology, hydrogeology, etc).
  • Masters qualified in a relevant specialism preferred, but not essential.
  • Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Relevant post-graduate experience within a consultancy environment, specifically in the preparation and co-ordination of EIAR and non-statutory environmental reports.
