Senior Civil/Structural Engineer Role
Design and project management are critical aspects of this senior civil/structural engineer role, as we seek a highly skilled individual to lead our team in the design and delivery of various building and civil engineering projects.
Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation of designs for building structures, utilising knowledge of Eurocodes and various materials
- Carry out manual calculations and utilise software packages such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, and TEDDS
- Interface with clients throughout projects, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety, actively contributing to ensuring the design team is proactive in regards to safety protocols
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction as a civil/structural design engineer
- Chartered or working towards chartership, with proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD software
- Previous experience in civil/structural engineering design and associated design software packages
- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
