Strategic Financial Planner

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute financial planner to join our finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a strategic finance role within a global business that is undergoing a period of sustained growth.

The newly created role will work closely with the CFO and cross-functionally to provide financial insights, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making at the highest level.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of KPIs, market and competitor trends to inform strategic planning.
  • Build detailed scenario models and sensitivity analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and influence business decisions.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models and planning tools for improved scalability and accuracy.
  • Lead budgeting cycles, profitability forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business cases, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes, accuracy, and reporting quality.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA), CFA or CIMA.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in FP&A, financial modelling, and reporting.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly numerate, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvements and enhance planning accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong financial modelling capabilities.
