Job Title: Retail Sales AssociateAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at a busy store in Kanturk, Co. Cork.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  2. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our products and services, making recommendations as needed.
  3. Process goods inwards accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures.
  4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety legislation.
  5. Participate in stock control counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
  6. Prepare dockets and picklists for goods deliveries to farms, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  7. Develop strong relationships with customers, providing advice on product options and resolving any issues that may arise.
  8. Foster a positive and productive team environment, contributing to regular meetings and discussions.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in retail or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and a methodical approach.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in computer-based tasks and software systems.
  • Good personal presentation and appearance, adhering to dress code requirements.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
