We are seeking a seasoned professional to design and coordinate engineering project services for mechanical or electrical installations, systems, equipment, and facilities.

", "Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and specifies applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for building engineering services purposes.
  • Surveys tests and reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations.
  • Specifies activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements.
  • Represents the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors teams.
  • Preparation of specification modifications (word or excel).
  • Ensure engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards.
  • Responsible for validation of Intermediate & Graduate Engineer input into designs.
  • Support the delivery of projects in accordance with the expectations of the Project Delivery Process from a Project Management, Financial Management, QA/QC and Technical Review perspective.

Degree qualified with 5+ years experience in a consulting engineering office or in an engineering role within a manufacturing company with a heavy design emphasis.

Working towards or have achieved MCIBSE/MIEE or equivalent.

Working towards Chartered Eng status.

Must possess excellent technical skills and written ability, be motivated and enthusiastic, be commercially aware, have the ability to work on their own initiative and be able to meet deadlines and liaise successfully with clients.

Experience with BIM/Revit systems desired.

Proficient in CAD, Word, Excel, and must be familiar with building services engineering design software suites.
