Healthcare Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Belmullet Mayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting the healthcare team, and working collaboratively with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Support the healthcare team by assisting with daily tasks and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 150 hours experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
  • FETAC/QQI Level 5 in healthcare support or equivalent.
  • Full vaccination record (HEP B, Varicella, MMR, BCG).
  • CPR & People Moving & Handling.
